Little People Big World fans watched Jackson Roloff undergo his first leg surgery on this week’s episode of his family’s hit TLC reality show. That episode was filmed last Fall. In real-time Jackson is now six months post-op. Now his mom, Tori Roloff, is sharing her oldest son’s progress with her 2 million fans and followers. Continue reading to see how now five-year-old Jackson Roloff is doing today.
Little People Big World: Jackson Roloff Bravely Undergoes The Knife
Little People Big World scene-stealing toddler Jackson Roloff put on his “big boy pants” on the latest episode of the current LPBW season now airing as he prepared for painful leg surgery. Jackson was certainly a trooper ahead of the surgery. However, his mother Tori was an emotional wreck. Jackon’s father, Zach Roloff, was the cool calm, and collected parent. After all, he’s been in Jackson’s shoes several times. So he’s able to keep things together for all three of them.
LPBW fans recall Jackson’s surgery is not an immediate fix. He had plates put on his growth plates in his legs that will over the next four to five years straighten the bowing in his legs as he grows. Little People Big World watchers saw young Jackson struggle with his recovery after the surgery. He was in a lot of pain and lethargic. Jackson just wanted to sit on the couch and veg out. However after his mom Tori bribed him with a new set of Legos, Jackson was quickly zooming around in his walker like a boss. That was the turning point in his recovery. Hopefully, as we watch Jackson grow into a young man we will see the successful results of this surgery before our eyes.
LPBW: Tori Roloff Says Jackson Is Now Back To His Normal Self
Little People Big World star Tori Roloff admitted reliving this week’s episode wasn’t easy. However, that was six months ago. Now Tori lets LPBW fans know that her “Baby J” is back to his old self these days. Jackson is running around, jumping into puddles, tormenting his little sister, and doing all the big boy things. Yes, his legs are still severely bowed. Still, the surgery has been deemed a success. So in time, the bowing will correct itself as Jackon grows. Plus he’s not in any pain. In fact, it’s almost like the surgery never happened.
Little People Big World’s Jackson Roloff also hit a huge childhood right of passage. Tori shared a video of Jackson riding his bike. Of course, little sister Lilah Roloff was right behind her big brother on her scooter. Tori Roloff captioned the video, “so proud of this kid learning to ride a bike”. This was just the update LPBW fans needed to see this week after seeing Jackon’s surgery play out on the most recent episode of the current season of Little People Big World.
