Shocking News! Matt Shuns Sons, Announces Roloff Property For Sale

LPBW star Matt Roloff lets the cat out of the bag on some higher rumored news regarding Roloff Farms less than a week before Little People Big World Season 23 premieres. After rejecting two separate offers from his twin sons, Jeremey Roloff and Zach Roloff, the father of four shares the news today of what his intentions are for the farm.

After 30 years in the family, Matt shares the news that he’s selling 16 acres of the 125 acres that comprise Roloff Farms. The sale includes the original family home where Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff raised their four kids as well as the iconic bright-red barn. Little People Big World News: Matt Roloff Selling The Farm – Strangers As Neighbors?

Roloff Farms is Located  15 miles west of Portland and just north of Hillsboro in the unincorporated community of Helvetia Oregon. Roloff Farms has been the backdrop for many of the antics and adventures of the Roloff family made famous by their long-running TLC reality series Little People Big World.

The new season debuts in a few days and showcases the rift between Matt Roloff and his son Zach Roloff after Zach and his wife Tori’s offer was rejected. Matt claimed Zach came in hot and demanding, While Zach says his father prioritized money and profit over family. Now with the sale of 16 acres of the Northside property that include the residence Zach and his siblings were raised, it seems Zach might have pegged his father’s intentions well.

However, LPBW celeb Matt Roloff is still keeping the lion’s share of the sprawling agricultural mecca that is Roloff Farms. Matt says, “Sell 16, keep 109 acres, still a pretty hefty holding”. So Matt will soon have new neighbors but still, own a sizeable piece of property to build his dream home for himself and long time girlfriend Caryn Chandler. Roloff is selling 16 acres, the red barn, and the family home where all the kids grew up for a whopping $4M.

LPBW: Matt Roloff Ready For What’s Next

Little People Big World patriarch Matt Roloff is 60 years old and is nearing retirement age. So selling the farm seems like the next logical step. Matt says it’s time to move on to the next season of his life. Still, he will retain a large part of the farm, so the next chapter could involve developing that acreage as well.

LPBW star Matt Roloff has already spent several months of the year traveling with Caryn. The two own property together in Surprise Arizona. So with the influx of cash soon in his hands, many see Matt Roloff enjoying the fruits of his labor.

In recent TLC promo videos for Little People Big World Season 23, Matt says his plans for Roloff Farms might cause his kids to hate him.  Perhaps that was a prelude to the plans Matt had to sell?
